We are proud of the UKCA accreditation we hold, and believe it is a testament to our service and capabilities as a team. Following a successful audit, the results confirmed that:
- All consumables and materials are sourced from quality, fully compliant sources
- Our manufacturing processes are overseen and quality checked by fully responsible welding coordinators
- All documentation is fully traceable

Execution Class 2
UKCA accreditation and marking
UKCA marking compliance is mandatory for construction products. Our team has achieved UKCA Execution Class 2 status, which means we are UKCA marked fabricators with:
- A unique ID for every completed assembly, giving full traceability of each component: material certification, welder identification and fabricator
- A fully accredited and audited Factory Production Control (FPC) system
- Every welder fully qualified in all weld procedure specifications
- An experienced, qualified Responsible Welding Coordinator overseeing all welding operations
- UKCA compliant quality control documentation, supplied with the UKCA number for every project

Legislation
UKCA marking legislation
In the UK, any steel fabricator delivering around the country must be UKCA compliant. BS EN 1090 states that all components in fabricated steelwork must be fully traceable to their original source, and that each component has been produced to the declared performance characteristics.
All fabricated structural steelwork delivered to a UK site must be UKCA marked and come from a UKCA approved fabricator. At Millwright Engineering Ltd, we meet this requirement.
